TENTATIVE AGREEMENT RATIFIED
82% VOTE IN FAVOUR OF NEW CONTRACT
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
The Union is pleased to report that the tentative agreement with Coast Mountain Bus Company has been ratified by 82%.
Your elected Bargaining Committee would not have been able to achieve these gains without the support of the membership and your willingness to strike if necessary. The Union will need your continued support as we work to implement the new agreement and hold the Company to its commitments.
The new Collective Agreement will be in effect from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2019. Signing copies of the new agreement will be prepared for the Bargaining Committee and the Company to review shortly. Copies of the final agreement will then be sent to the printers to produce booklet-sized versions for all members. In the meantime, copies of the changes to the collective agreement are available through the Union office.
Thanks so much again for all your incredible support during bargaining. Together, we are stronger
